Folaha residents celebrated having access to clean water thanks to a Japanese Government project that upgraded their deteriorating water supply system, with the installation of a new solar power water pump unit set, a new tank stand, a new water tank and fence around the solar and pump house systems.

Over 800 people living at Tatakamotonga village now have access to clean and reliable water supply, after Japan upgraded its system.

Around 731 residents of the village of Puke on Tongatapu, now have access to clean water after Japan granted over US$82K to restore the water supply system, which was commissioned on March 12.
