A donation of 200 solar home lighting units received by the Tonga Red Cross Society will be distributed to families affected by the 2022 HTHH volcanic eruption and tsunamis, with priority to the outer islands of Ha'apai. The donation which includes livelihood materials, is from the Government of India's Pacific Island Regional Initiative. 

Tupouto’a College of the Free Wesleyan Church in Nomuka, Ha’apai that was affected by the the Hunga-Tonga Hunga-Ha’apai natural disasters received new school supplies from the Australian Government.

Health centres and clinics in Tonga are better equipped to monitor community health, with 50 digital weighing scales donated by Tanita, a Japanese company, working in collaboration with the Tonga Red Cross.

A $65,000 cheque from the Chinese Government was handed over to Tonga Police for the upgrade of its mechanical workshop at the Tonga Police headquarters in Longolongo.

Special needs students at the Government Middle School Ngele'ia have received a donation of computers and equipment to help with their education. The equipment was donated to the inclusive education class for special needs students, the school from the Chinese Embassy in Nuku'alofa on 9 August.

Donations raised from a benefit concert in the United States were handed out to two local organizations on 17 May, to assist in the aftermath of the volcanic eruption and tsunamis that impacted Tonga on 15 January this year. A. further donation will be given to a local primary school.

Small boats donated by New Zealand billionaire Graeme Hart and Tongan Olympian Pita Taufatofua Jr were presented to representatives of some of the tsunami affected communities on March 9 at Vuna Wharf, Nuku'alofa.

New medical equipment, including thermography cameras to improve Tonga's border control against COVID-19, was handed over to the Ministry of Health from the Government of Japan. “We also hope that Tonga could open the border even only a day sooner through our various assistances, including vaccinations,” he said.

Medical supplies from China were handed over to the Ministry of Health at Vaiola Hospital on July 24.
