Tonga A beats ACT A 29 – 20 [1]

Tonga A has won its second game of the Pacific Rugby Cup with a convincing victory over ACT A 29 – 20 in Canberra, Australia yesterday, Sunday, March 9.
Tonga A ran in four tries while ACT A managed two tries. The win puts Tonga A back on track after the team lost its opener to Samoa A last week.
ACT A is a development squad of the ACT Brumbies. In last year’s tournament an ACT development team thrashed Tonga A 62 -12.
Tonga A took the lead at half-time 22 – 13 with a penalty conversion and three tries scored in the form of Seven’s player Kilifi Latu, Inside-Centre Viliami Hakalo and Full-back Otulea Katoa. The lead was extended early in the second half with a converted try by Fly-half Sione Kite, with the end result 29 – 20.
Tonga A will play a New South Wales team Gen Blue in Sydney this Thursday, March 13.
