New Chinese Ambassador to Tonga presents credentials [1]

The new Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Tonga presented his letter of credentials to King Tupou VI last week in Nuku'alofa.
HE Mr Huang Huaguang, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Tonga, previously served in Beijing and then at the Chinese Embassy in Italy.
At a press conference on Dcember 20 Ambassador Huang said that after being in Tonga for a week, he had fallen in love with the country and considered himself to be "very lucky to be an ambassador to Tonga - with the blue sky, fresh air, beautiful landscape and the friendly people."
Ambassador Huang presented his letter of credentials on December 17 to hHM King Tupou VI at the Royal Palace and spent about 40 minutes talking about the Tonga-China diplomatic relationship.
The new ambassador suceeds H.E Mr Wang Donghua.
