Mosese Fotuaika, a top Rugby League player of Tongan descent, has been found dead at his Sydney Home.
The 20-year-old’s body was discovered by his girlfriend and police were called at 6.50 pm yesterday evening, February 28.
Australian Police said “The death is not being treated as suspicious. A report will be prepared for the coroner”, although the full circumstances of the tragedy are yet to be confirmed.
Fotuaika who is from Gisborne, New Zealand, of Tongan parentage, had only recently been assigned to play for the Sydney based West Tigers in the NRL premiership after a successful season with the club’s junior team.
He was described by the NRL as a “softly spoken man” who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
