German cruise ship visits Nuku'alofa [1]

The MS Artania from Germany visited Nuku'alofa today with over 900 passengers and 500 crew.
Some passengers strolled through the Nuku'alofa CBD while others went on the island tour buses.
The Tonga Police Brass Band greeted passengers at the wharf, while handicraft sellers tried to attract attention to local wares.
The ship departed this afternoon for the Bay of Plenty in New Zealand.
A fourth cruise ship Seabourne Quest from the United States will visit Nuku'alofa on Wednesday, February 6 with around 300 passengers, for a day before departing to Fiji, on Wednesday afternoon.
The next cruise ship to visit Nuku'alofa will be in March. A total of 17 cruise ships are expected to visit Tonga this year.
