Jesters win $4000 Hip-Hop prize [1]

A group of young talented dancers "The Jesters" from Kolofo'ou won a first prize of $4,000 in Cool 90 FM's Hip-Hop Competition 2012, before a full house at the 'Atele Indoor Stadium on Friday night 30 November.
'Uluakimata Moala of the Hip Hop Organising Committee under Tonga Broadcasting Commission said over 1000 people attended the two hour event.
She said 12 teams participated from throughout Tongatapu. OG City came in second winning $2,000 while the the third place winners Undercover Clownz went home with $1,000 cash prize.
'Uluakimata said Hip Hop is an activity that which youths enjoy "so we put on this event for them to showcase dancing talent and to empower them," she said.
Other competting groups received consolation prizes of $200 pa'anga each.
TBC and local companies donated the cash prizes.
