Police identify escaped prisoner, Heamani Lopeti [1]

Police are hunting down an escaped prisoner Heamani Lopeti, otherwise known as Heamani Nehoa, who escaped from the Nuku'alofa Police Station on Monday, October 8.
He was arrested for the alleged robbery of of 30-cartons of beef from a container owned by Tu'i International shop at Haveluloto, on Friday October 5.
Deputy Commissioner of Police 'Atelaite Soakai said today, that Heamani who comes from Nomuka in Ha'apai but lives at Ma'ufanga in Tongatapu is a solid build, with curly black hair, brown eyes, height of 1.82m and he was wearing a navy blue t-shirt and short jeans when he escaped.
She said the escapee has a red bird tattooed on his right arm, with a second tattoo of Tongan kupesi design with the words 'Apifo'ou College, Lupeni Tangimana and Kele Tokai, on his left arm. He also has a scar that lies diagonally on his forehead towards his right eyebrow.
Should the public become aware of his whereabouts police are to be contacted at 922 or 23083, she said.
