JUSTICE Robert Shuster convicted a 48-year-old father from Ha'ateiho on charges of incest and indecent assault on the offender's two daughters in 2008 in Tongatapu.
Tevita Vake appeared before judgement on January 18 at the Supreme Court in Nuku'alofa and was found guilty on the charges.
He had pleaded not guilty to both charges and stood trial before Justice Shuster in November last year.
During the trial, the prosecution told court that in June 2008 he committed the incest over his biological daughter at the Vaiola car park and indecently assaulted his adopted daughter at their residence at Ha'ateiho.
Tevita who was represented by counsel Vuna Fa'otusia had denied committing the offences.
Justice Shuster ordered that he be remanded in police custody for sentencing next week, on January 25.
It is understood that the victims were around 19 and 21 years old when the offences were committed.
