Boundaries Commission to set new electoral boundaries [1]

A Royal Constituency Boundaries Commission was established on Friday, December 11 to settle the electoral boundaries for the 2010 Elections.
A statement from the Lord Privy Seal yesterday, December 21 stated that HM King George Tupou V in Privy Council gave his consent for the establishment of the Commission.
The three-members Commission is made up of a Barrister and a former judge, Mr Gerard Thomas Winter; an economist and statistician, Hon. Cecil James Cocker; and a geographer/surveyor, Dr Sione Nailasikau Halatu'itu'ia.
The Commission has been scheduled to present a report to the King no later than June 30, 2010, and it will remain in operation until 2014.
