Two men charged with armed robbery at wharf [1]

TWO men have been charged with armed robbery where two persons were held at gunpoint and robbed of their cash at Tu'imatamoana Wharf on May 29.
The Deputy Police Commander in a Weekly Crime Report on June 8 confirmed that the two male offenders who were arrested last week were additionally charged with using firearms.
He said that one of the men was arrested in 'Eua and the other in Tongatapu. They were being kept in police custody until June 14 when they would appear at the Magistrate's Court.
The incident took place between 6:30-7am on when the two offenders held up two people at the wharf after they were lured to the area in order to buy sea cucumber.
