Three charged after armed robbery at bakery [1]

THREE people have been charged in relation to an armed robbery that took place at the Cowley Bakery in Nukunuku where about $9,000 cash was stolen on Friday, June 18.
Last week police arrested a 32-year-old from Hofoa and charged him with armed robbery. Another man, from Sopu, was also arrested and charged with abetment to the armed robbery.
Police also arrested and charged a 32-year-old woman from Hofoa on a charge of receiving stolen goods.
The Deputy Police Commander Taniela Faletau confirmed in the Police Weekly Crime Report on June 29, that police had this week seized the firearms believed to have been used in the armed robbery.
The offenders would appear at the Magistrate's Court in Nukunuku on Thursday, July 1.
