Writ of Election for Representatives of the Tonga Legislative Assembly, issued by King George Tupou V. on 5 October 2010.

“TO All To Whom These Presents Shall Come! We Sendeth Greetings:
BY VIRTUE of the powers conferred upon Us by Section 7 of the Electoral Act 1989 (as amended) and on the advice of the Prime Minister, We hereby Issue by Our Hand this Writ of Election for Representatives of Our Legislative Assembly.
We do hereby command the Electoral Commission to act, in accordance with the Laws of Tonga:
- To cause an election to be held for members of Our Legislative Assembly to serve as Representatives of the Nobles, as follows:
- Three Nobles for the District of Tongatapu
- Two Nobles for the District of Vava'u
- Two Nobles for the District of Ha'apai
- One Noble for the District of 'Eua
- One Noble for the District of Ongo Niua
- To take the poll on the Twenty-Fifth day of November, 2010 between 1000hrs and 1200hrs at the following appointed places:
- The Palace Office at Nuku'alofa, Tongatapu
- The Governor's Office at Neiafu, Vava'u
- The Governor's Office at Pangai, Ha'apai
- The Government Representatives Office at 'Ohonua, 'Eua; Hihifo, Niuatoputapu and 'Esia, Niuafo'ou.
To return to Us this Writ of Election on or before the Ninth day of December, 2010.

We do hereby command the Electoral Commission to act, in accordance with the Laws of Tonga:
- To cause an election to be held for a member of Our Legislative Assembly for each and every Electoral Constituency to serve as a Representative of the People.
- To take the poll at the appointed polling stations according to Schedule I (as annexed herein) on the Twenty-Fifth day of November, 2010 between 0900hrs and 1600hrs at the following appointed places:
- To return to Us this Writ of Election on or before the Ninth day of December, 2010.
