WRIT of Election for a Representative of the People for the Electoral Constituency of Tongatapu No. 9
To the Returning Officer of the Electoral District of Tongatapu:
Whereas the 2010 General Election for a Representative of the People for the Electoral Constituency of Tongatapu No. 9 resulted in the election of Mr Kaveinga Fa'anunu;
And whereas the seat of the Representative of the People for the Electoral Constituency of Tongatapu No. 9 has become vacant under section 6 of the Legislative Assembly Act (CAP4) as amended, due to the death of Mr Kaveinga Fa'anunu;
Now therefore in exercise of the powers vested in me by section 6 of the Legislative Assembly Act (CAP. 4), I command that you do cause an election to be held according to the law of a successor to sit and vote in the Legislative as Representative of the People for the Electoral Constituency of Tongatapu No. 9 and that you make return to me of the name of such member when so elected.
