WHITE 'Faka-Sepitema' on September 28, in Nuku'alofa saw hundreds of women of the Church of Tonga (Hou'eiki) in Tongatapu dressed in white for their annual roll call.
They gathered at the main church at Kilikali, central Nuku'alofa, to answer their call by simply saying "I am present".
The occasion is special for these women in white because it is the only day in the year that is reserved especially for them.
Last week the Free Church of Tonga in Nuku'alofa held their
Faka-Sepitema last week, and they too wore white outfits for the special day.
