Church schools announce duces for 2009 [1]

The school year for 2009 concluded on Friday November 27 with the prizegiving ceremonies for four high schools: the Free Wesleyan Tupou High School, Tupou College, and Queen Salote College and the Catholic 'Apifo'ou College.
Free Wesleyan Church
HRH Princess Pilolevu Tuita was the guest of honour at a combined prize giving ceremony for Queen Salote College, Tupou College and Tupou High School.
The dux for Tupou High School is Cynthia 'Otumuli (16) from Makave, Vava'u and Longoteme, Tongatapu.
The dux for Tupou College is Viliami Filikitonga from Navutoka and Afa, Tongatapu.
The dux for Queen Salote College is Lupi Tukia (17) from Kolomotu'a.
Catholic Church
'Apifo'ou College held their prize giving ceremony at the Sir Sofele Kakala Hall, with the 2009 dux 'Epifania Latu from Niuafo'ou and residing at Fasi mo e Afi. The guest of honour was Bishop Soane Patita Mafi.
Government schools
The government schools, Tonga High School and Tonga College, will hold their prize giving ceremonies this week, to be followed by the graduation ceremonies for the Tonga Institute of Education and Tonga Institute of Higher Education at the Community Development Centre.
