Taunga Island welcomes conference delegates [1]

Delegates to the Tongan Energy Roadmap Meeting in Vava'u this week were welcomed by Tongan Prime Minister Hon. Dr Feleti Sevele at Taunga Island on November 15, for Sunday lunch.
The meeting brought in consultants and engineers from organizations including the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, and diplomats from Australia, New Zealand, China and Japan.
There was also a strong local delegation led by the Prime Minister Dr Feleti Sevele, and the government's Renewable Energy Coordinator, 'Akau'ola.
Yesterday afternoon, 'Akau'ola welcomed delegates to his estate of Taunga Island for an informal gathering in preparation for the official opening of the meeting today.
