Youth leaders visit school [1]

YOUTH leaders from the 'Ship for World Youth' met up with Tongan school students today during a special visit to the Fasi mo e Afi Government Primary School in Nuku'alofa and were welcomed with dancing and food.
The students delighted the multi-national delegates by performing Tongan dances and songs. The visitors in return extended their gratitude by performing a group song for the students.
The 283 youth leaders from 13 countries are currently in Nuku'alofa for three days after arriving this week on board the cruise ship Nippon Maru from Japan. They have visited various schools and villages throughout Tongatapu.
The Nippon Marudeparts Nuku'alofa tomorrow for New Zealand, the second leg of their voyage aimed at fostering cooperation and friendship among youth leaders form many countries.
