Editor,
After reading your story on the tragic accident involving the two young men recently I was saddened by the devastating plight these two men have endured. Accident shatters dreams of two talented sportsmen [2] I am referring to the men Paumolevuka Tu'i (18) of Talafo'ou and Mafua Kiokata (22) of Nukunuku training for the Aussie Rules trip to australia and would like to add I do not know them or their families.
I recently had a rugby jersey signed by the members of the world XV who took part in the recent coronation match to honour the King
The King himself has signed the jersey.
I am going to encase the item in a frame made using local cedar and intend to raffle this with all proceeds going to the family of the men to help out however possible
I have approached Molisi supermarket who are willing to display the jersey and sell tickets at their supermarket
I will also approach other businesses such as Western Union, Westpac Bank, ANZ etc so the jersey can be displayed at each outlet for a period of time.
I have also asked Rotary to help in the promotion.
I am asking you if you can possibly help by way of free advertising to assist in promotion of the concept
As soon as the jersey is encased I can provide a photograph or make it available for such purposes
I hope your readers can assist in this matter as I believe it is a worthy cause.
Yours Sincerely
