Coronation rugby kicks off celebrations events [1]

The program combines various events of the Heilala Festival organised by the Heilala Committee with a Youth Music Festival and special Coronation Sports tournaments jointly organised by the Ministry of Training, Employment, Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Education.
The official Coronation program has not been released by Government but is expected to be completed soon.
Sports and Floats parade
On Monday, July 28 the Miss Heilala Interview Session at Fa'ounelua Centre in the morning.
A Float March will be held from Saione to the Tu'imatamoana Fish Market followed by more sports tournaments of cricket, tennis and the Oceania Beach Volleyball Championship.
A Primary Mile Marathon run will be held for under the age of 12 with aerobics held at the Hihifo Bus Station.
A Hip Hop Dancing Competition organised by Radio Tonga FM 90 will follow at 6:00pm at 'Atele Stadium while a Miss Heilala Dress Rehearsal is held at Tungi Arcade lot in town.
The Education Cultural Day will be held on Tuesday, July 29 at Teufaiva followed by a Youth Floor Show at TCF lot.
The Sports Tournament continues to an Adult Half Marathon for the Open Grade division, the finals of the Junior and Team events for tennis as well as cricket, swimming and golf events.
The Miss Heilala Sarong and Talent competition will follow in the evening at the Queen Salote Memorial Hall.
Taumafa Kava
On Wednesday, July 30 at 9:00am the Coronation Taumafa Kava Ceremony is an important traditional event to be held at Pangai Lahi next to the Royal Palace.
A table tennis competition, the Open Singles tennis and boxing that will be held at Queen Salote Memorial Hall and the 'Atele Indoor Stadium.
Coronation
Friday, August 1 is the Coronation Day with the crowning of King George Tupou V at Saione.
The day will also include a Netball Seven a side tournament featuring Kolomotu'a, Kolofo'ou, Hihifo and Hahake with Hockey competitions, finals for Volleyball, more boxing and a US Basketball tournament.
On Saturday, August 2 is the King's Birthday Military Parade at Pangai Si'i,
There will be a Rugby Tournament at the Teufaiva Stadium in the afternoon.
