The young 'Ikale Tahi beat Russia 22-7 in their final game at the IRB Under19 Championship in Kings Park, Durban, South Africa on April 12.
Tonga's victory over Russia put them in fifth place in the Division B of the IRB Under19 Championship listing. All the 12 teams in Division B played their final games at the same venue, Kings Park.
The winner of Division B was Romania, which defeated Uruguay 30-7. Chile beat Namibia 38-5, and Tonga beat Russia 22-7.
The top six teams in division B are Romania, Uruguay, Chile, Namibia, Tonga, and Russia.
Canada defeated Portugal 16-3 to claim the seventh place. Korea defeated Thailand 60-17, and the USA defeated Morocco 15-5, leaving Morocco in 12th place at the bottom of Division B.
Romania, the winner of Divison B, is the only team in Division B that qualified to proceed to Division A.
New Zealand is the winner of Division A by beating France 34-11, South Africa beat England 38-31, Wales beat Australia 14-10, Japan beat Scotland 28-22 and Argentina thrashed Italy 58-3.
