A colourful float parade for the 'Ikale Tahi Rugby Team were joined by hundreds of people in central Nuku'alofa this afternoon.
The float parade was the first time that most of the people in Tongatapu got up close to see the rugby stars after arriving in the country last night.
The 'Ikale Tahi team were carried in a special float parade from the Tu'imatamona wharf to Nuku'alofa's Central Business District. Upon arrival at the old Tungi Arcade block the players were swamped by fans whom were either screaming for a kiss, a picture or an autograph.
Hundreds of people who were dressed all in red lined the streets, some standing on their vehicles, even on rooftops just to catch a better glimpse of the victorious rugby team.
