A Nuku'alofa Supreme Court chamber will be held on August 25 to decide the costs of the Parliament case after the court ruled earlier in June, that the Opening of the 2006 parliamentary session by the Princess Regent, Princess Pilolevu Tuita, was lawful.
In passing his decision on June 19, in which he ruled in favor of the plaintiffs, the Tongan Government, the Prime Minister and the Speaker of the House, the Chief Justice Robin Webster adjourned the issue of costs to be heard in a future hearing in which legal counsel will make their submissions.
