Dozens of handsome grooms and beautiful brides wearing traditional Tongan and western attire tied the knot today, during what is a busy month for weddings before Christmas.
December remains the most popular month for nuptials and the Registry Office was buzzing with 38 marriages registered today. So far 83 marriages have been registered this month.
There will be more busy days ahead as wedding couples rush to the registry before government closes for holidays next Tuesday, 19 December.
However, the Registry Office said they will re-open on 21 December especially for couples getting married on that day.
