Tongan flags fly high for Mate Ma'a Tonga [1]

The largest Tongan flag in town was raised today by proud supporters of the Mate Ma’a Tonga Rugby League team. Draped on the front of Fifita House on Taufa'ahau Road in Nuku’alofa, it can't be missed.
Tenants in the building said it is their biggest possible show of support for the Mate Ma’a Tonga team They include JK Chartered Accountants, Dominion Insurance, Richoh Ltd., AK Financial Services, SCH Lawyers, JR Properties Ltd and Samiu Vaipulu Law Office.
“Whatever the result of the semi final match against England, the Mate Ma’a Tonga has already made all of Tonga proud," they said.
Excitement ahead of Saturday's semi-final could be felt in the capital today where red-decked vehicles were honking and supporters dressed in red made themselves seen and heard.
Mate Ma’a Tonga will play England at Mt Smart Stadium in Auckland on Saturday, November 25, in the 2017 Rugby League World Cup.
King Tupou VI who left Tonga this afternoon will attend the game.
