Tongan heavyweight boxing prospect Junior Fa (Uaine Fa Jnr.) is scheduled to fight in the United States on 10 November in the City of Cleveland. He will face an undefeated U.S boxer, Fred Latham of Pittsburgh, who boasts a record of 9 wins and 2 draws.
The scheduled bout will be Fa’s second fight on American soil since his knockout victory over U.S boxer Keith Barr in February this year. Fa last fought in May this year against Australian boxer Hunter Sam in Auckland, winning the fight by decision.
Junior Fa pro-debuted in February last year and currently holds an undefeated record of 12 victories with 7 by way of knockout. The 27-year-old is an accomplished amateur boxer, twice defeating current WBO heavyweight champion Joseph Parker and winning a bronze medal for Tonga at the 2010 Commonwealth Games.
