Kava plants stolen from Longomapu plantation [1]

20 kava plants worth more than $4,000 pa’anga were stolen from a plantation at Longmapu in Vava’u between September 13-15.
A 20-year-old farmer, the owner reported to police that he visited his plantation after the dates alleged, to find that some of his kava plants have been uprooted and stolen.
The kava have not been recovered.
No one has been arrested. Investigation continues.
