The Free Wesleyan Church FWC schools in Tongatapu held a combined Bazaar Day on Wednesday, September 27 in Nuku'alofa, with the exception of Queen Salote College which has had its own bazaar, while Tupou College is expected to have theirs on a date to be confirmed.
The annual event was an opportunity for students to raise funds for their schools by selling their handmade handicrafts and food. The schools included Tupou High School, Mo’unga’olive, Maamaloa Side School, Sia'atoutai Theological College and other FWC Middle Schools.
Attracting shoppers to the Akoteu grounds, the bazaar was held alongside the church's Faka-Sepitema roll call for its women, at the Centennial Church.
