Thieves snatch woman’s purse [1]

Police are looking for two men who forcefully snatched a 60-year-old woman’s handbag on a road in Kolofo’ou on 31 August.
The robbery took place at around 10:50am, when the victim who lives at Fasi was walking down the intersection of Lavinia and Laifone Roads.
The woman, an Asian, reported that the two men approached her and forcefully grabbed her handbag from around her neck and ran off with it.
The purse contained $50 pa'anga cash, her iPhone 6, house keys, driver's license and sunglasses.
The victim who struggled with the two men when they snatched her handbag, sustained bruises to her neck and right knee when she fell on the ground, during the struggle.
No one has been arrested, and the investigation continues.
