Wales names squad for Tonga and Samoa matches [1]

Wales Rugby Union has announced its 32-man squad to play Tonga and Samoa next month. Harlequins centre Jamie Roberts (30) will captain the Welsh side under the direction of head coach Robin McBryde.
The Welsh team has been significantly cropped with 12 top Welsh rugby players being designated to play for the British & Irish Lions in next month’s tour of New Zealand. The missing 12 include Taulupe Faletau, George North, Leigh Halfpenny and Jonathan Davies.
Wales is scheduled to play Tonga on Friday 16th June at Eden Park in Auckland. The Welsh will then move on to face Samoa in Apia on Friday 23rd June. The ‘Ikale Tahi team to face Wales is yet to be announced.
