Busy time for Vava’u in June-July [1]

Vava’u Tourism is expecting many visitors to the island group this coming June to July with many events being held there this year.
Bruno Toke, Officer in Charge of the Ministry of Tourism office in Neiafu said today the Free Wesleyan Church Annual Conference would be held from June 27 to July 4.
HM King Tupou VI is also expected to visit for his birthday on 4 July.
Vava’u tourism operators plan a float parade on their yachts and boats in the harbour on July 5, as part of the birthday celebrations.
The King is also expected to visit some of the outer islands in Vava'u on this same day on board HMAF Voea, he said.
Businesses would then be preparing for the Agricultural Show on July 7.
