Tonga for qualifiers at Hong Kong Sevens [1]

A 12-member team to represent Tonga at the Hong Kong Sevens tournament on April 7-9 received local support today before leaving for the tournament on Saturday, April 1.
Tonga will be participating in the qualifiers division of the tournament and must win the division in order to qualify for core status for the next HSBC World Series. Tonga's pool comprises of Uganda, Jamaica and Germany.
Digicel Tonga CEO Ben Kealy, Chief Executive Officer for Digicel Tonga gave their backing and support to the team.
This included $600 pa'anga for each player and $1,000 each for the three officials plus phones and uniforms.
Fe’ao Vunipola, Tonga Rugby Union CEO thanked Digicel for their contribution made in kind, monetary and communication for the sport of rugby and for the team.
