Latukefu casts in Alien: Covenant [1]

Aussie-Tongan actor Talia'uli Latukefu (33) casts in the highly anticipated space horror film, Alien: Covenant, which releases on 19 May this year. The movie is a sequel to the movie Prometheus, and a prequel to the original Alien series.
In the movie, Latukefu acts as one of 14 crew members on board a colony spaceship called the Covenant. They explore a remote planet on the farside of the galaxy and later become hunted by alien creatures. Whether Latukefu's character survives or not, remains to be seen. A four minute teaser to Alien: Covenant was released two days ago. Latukefu can be seen in the teaser.
The movie is directed by Sir Ridley Scott. Star actors in the film include Billy Crudup, Katherine Waterston and Michael Fassbender. Shooting locations included New Zealand's Milford Sound and Fiordland National Park.
Latukefu has been acting since 2013. He was a recurring cast member in the 2016 TV series Marco Polo, playing the role of a Mongolian general named Byamba. He also acted in the 2014 Australian TV series, Devil's Playground, playing the role of a catholic clergyman named father Matteo.
