Law Week to focus on Rights of Persons with Disabilities [1]

A Law Week to be held by the Attorney General's Office from November 7-11 this year will focus on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
The Acting Attorney General 'Aminiasi Kefu said the Law Week is aimed to inform the public about the rights provided in the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, which the Government of Tonga has signed while discussing obligations, benefits and challenges of applying the Convention in Tonga.
He said activities will include daily radio talkbacks from Radio 87.5 FM.
This annual weekly event is held as part of the celebrations of the granting of the Constitution by the late King George Tupou I on November 4, 1875.
