King Tupou VI visiting Singapore [1]

Tonga's King Tupou VI and Queen Nanasipau’u are currently on a working visit to Singapore.
Singapore's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that King Tupou VI met President Tony Tan Keng Yam on Thursday afternoon, 8 September.
King Tupou VI has also held dialogue with senior ministers from the Ministry of Environment and Water Resources, the Ministry of Health, Dr Amy Khor; the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Social and Family Development, Dr Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim, and the Parliamentary Secretary.
The King received briefings on Singapore’s education and healthcare systems, as well as Singapore’s experience in heritage preservation, tourism development and port management.
The King's delegation, including the Minister of Health, Dr Saia Piukala and the Director of Health, Siale ‘Akau’ola are scheduled to leave Singapore on 11 September.
