Tongan sprinter reaches 100m heats but did not start [1]

Tongan 100m sprinter Siueni Filimone (21) did not start after reaching the heats of the elite men’s 100m sprint at the Rio 2016 Olympics this morning, Sunday 14 August.
His failure to start in Heat 5 remains a mystery for the time being, as there has been no explanation from Tongan officials in Rio today.
Filimone gave an impressive performance in the preliminary round coming second with his season’s best time of 10.76 seconds and automatically qualifying for the round 1 heats.
