Pregnant mother dies in Utah train crash, baby survives [1]

A pregnant 30 year old US-Tongan woman and mother of six, ‘Ofa Kinikini, died after the vehicle she was traveling in was hit by a train in Salt Lake City, Utah on Monday July 25. ‘Ofa's baby was saved in an emergency C-section, a daughter who is now in critical condition, according to local reports.
The Salt Lake City Police Department, reported that the accident occurred after ‘Ofa’s partner drove their vehicle around a crossing arm and attempted to cross a railway track when their vehicle was hit by an oncoming train.
A memorial fund has been set up for Kaipā ʻOfa KiʻUiha Sateki Kinikini. Her brother wrote on the page, “On the evening of July 25th, 2016, ʻOfa was riding on the passenger side when the vehicle she was in was struck by a FrontRunner passenger train. She was due this month with her seventh child at the time. She was rushed to the hospital where doctors performed an emergency C-Section on her. Fortunately, the baby survived, but ʻOfa did not make it.” We appreciate any help. It pains me as I write this.
