New TASANOC Board elected [1]

The Tonga Amateur Sports Association National Olympic Committee's (TASANOC) new Executive Board was elected for a four-year term, last night, Thursday, 16 June.
TASANOC stated that 25 National Federations members attended the TASANOC 2016 Extraordinary General Assembly, and elected the new members at its headquarters.
The new President is Lord Tupou with Lord Sevele as Vice President in Finance.
Five other Vice-Presidents elected were ‘Amanaki Fakakovikaetau, Michael Bloomfield, Lord Vaea, Viola Ulakai and Sione Taumoepeau.
Also in attendance was the President of the Pacific Games Council Mr Vidhiya Lakhan, who was appointed by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and Oceania National Olympic Committee as its representative.
