In a traditional celebration, the kainga of the Noble Tu‘ivakano gathered at the village of Nukunuku on August 25 to celebrate the 21st birthday of the heir to Tu‘ivakano title, Siaosi Kiu Tau-ki-Vailahi Kaho.
Kiu is in his final year for his Bachelor of Arts degree in History at the University of Auckland and one day will be the traditional leader of the people who live in the villages of Nukunuku, Vaotu‘u and Matahau.
