Colourful Cultural Day showcases traditional dance [1]

Hundreds of young students from Primary and Middle Schools of the Free Wesleyan Church (FWC) today performed colourful traditional dances, at the Akoteu grounds in Nuku’alofa.
The cultural day was held to teach students the importance of Tonga’s traditional dances, with performances of the ma’ulu’ulu, tau’olunga and kailao.
Primary schools including Nukunuku, Kolovai, and Maamaloa Side School in Nuku'alofa, with some middle schools from throughout Tongatapu put on a show on a bright and sunny afternoon.
