Shooting suspect remains at large [1]

No arrests have been made in relation to a shooting, which injured a petrol station attendant in Ma’ufanga last Friday morning, 4 September.
Chief Superintendent Tevita Fifita said today their investigation continues but they had not made any arrest directly related to this shooting.
The male suspect, who is said to have worn a hoodie with his face covered, had allegedly driven by in a car, and stopped at the petrol station and demanded cash from the victim, who was in sole charge of the station at around 2:00-3:00am on Friday.
When the victim didn’t get cash he was shot on his left thigh before the suspect fled off in the car, he said.
The 37-year-old victim from Ma’ufanga is recovering at Vaiola Hospital.
