Tu‘ilakepa fined $10,000 for illegal firearms and ammunition [1]

The Lord Tu’ilakepa was fined $10,000 Pa’anga on two charges relating to illegal possession of firearms and ammuntion yesterday, February 5.
The Vava’u noble and former Speaker of Parliament was first charged for possession of illegal firearms and ammunitions in December, 2010.
Lord Tu’ilakepa currently is a Vava'u Noble’s Representative to Parliament.
Mr Justice Charles Cato handed down the oral sentencing and gave the Lord Tu’ilakepa two weeks to pay the fine.
