Certificates awarded to ‘Unuaki-‘o-Tonga students [1]

Over 200 students received certificates during the ‘Unuaki-‘o-Tonga Royal Institute Academic Achievement Award ceremony on Saturday, October 18 in Tofoa.
The Prime Minister Lord Tu'ivakano handed out 212 Certificates in Tourism, Hospitality and in Tongan Dance and Entertainment.
He encouraged students on the importance to have a dream and dream high while thanking the founder 'Etuate Lavulavu for providing the courses to the youths of Tonga.
"Never give up easily because if you have determination and a positive attitude you will succeed."
'Akosita Lavulavu the Executive Dean said of the graduates, 48 have been accepted to continue their training at the Martin Hautaus Institute in New Zealand.
She said they would study NZIM Certificate in Management, Diploma in Business, IT and Computer Science.
“There are currently four students studying in New Zealand this year and we are happy that more will attend next year,” she said.
