Fiji's Bainimarama remains a dictator [1]

Editor,
Dr Sushil K Sharma should know better as an "educated" person than to lavishly pile heaps of accolades on Fiji's Dictator (Bainimarama eclipsed . . . Sept 18, 2014) in order to erase history.
Bainimarama is still a Dictator. He came to power in a coup de dat'. That cannot be erased from history. Dr. Sharma must review his educational credentials before he can arbitrary crown Dictator Bainimarama a Saint. People's lives were lost in the coup de dat' that Bainimarama led, and Fiji is still labeled a "human rights" violator by the UN.
Just because Dictator Bainimarama won an election (while ruling as a dictator) does not make him a "kind of popularity, charisma, . . ." that is "similar to Ratu Mara." Excuse me Dr. Sharma, but I'm not aware of Ratu Mara leading a coup de dat'.
And Dictator Bainimarama is no Ratu Mara. Bainimarama came to power with the barrel of a gun. In contrast, Ratu Mara used his brains. Dr. Sharma needs to examine his brain to distinguish academic writing with his credentials referenced, from sheer personal opinion from an idolizer of a dictator.
Fiji can call it a democratic election, and so did the Palestinians who also elected Hamas in a similar "democratic election" to be their leaders. Who is killing more Palestinians during their current acts of terrorism against Israel?
Yes, Hamas was democratically elected with the barrel of a gun. And Fiji's Bainimarama rules with the barrel of a gun.
Go figure, Dr. Sharma.
