HM Queen Nanasipau'u opened the annual Queen Salote College Bazaar at the college hall this morning, and inspected traditional woven handicrafts made by the students.
The Bazaar is a popular fund-raiser for the all-girls college, and this year was no exception with women crowding in to the hall to buy traditional kiekie, ta'ovala, kafa, and other woven items. Sales were rapid, the tables emptied in a couple of hours. The Queen Salote College Brass Band entertained the crowd.
