'Ofa Tu'ikolovatu of the ‘Uiha & Sons GIO Recycling Co in Nuku'alofa was re-elected as President of Women in Sustainable Enterprises (WISE) Tonga Inc. at its Annual General Meeting tonight, August 20 at the Moulton Hall, Nuku'alofa. 'Ofa is supported by an elected board of local business women and entrepreneurs from the formal and informal sectors:
- Vice President, Malia Tonga (Tu'i International);
- Secretary, Cathy Burenivalu (Fexco (Tonga) Ltd.);
- Assistant secretary, Mona Lisa Palu (Tonga Handicrafts Programme);
- Treasurer Christine 'Uta'atu, ('Uta'atu & Associates);
- Technical adviser media, Lusia Latu (LL Consulting Ltd (NZ));
- Informal sector representative, Ebonie Fifita (On the Spot); and
- Formal sector representative, Siangana Palu (Siangana Travel).
Women in Sustainable Enterprises (WISE) Tonga Inc. connects business women in Tonga to opportunities to develop their business, creative and leadership skills across all sectors. The group aims to create networking between women at all levels of enterprise.
