Tough tau'olunga competition for Miss Heilala contestants [1]

Tonga’s traditional dancing and costumes was on show at the Miss Heilala Tau’olunga competition last night 9 July, at the Queen Salote Memorial Hall.
The top four dancers announced in random order were: Miss FISA/MV ‘Otuanga’ofa Sakae Tamo’ua, Miss Universal Pharmacy Seini Fakatava, Miss Lady Maria Australia Nicole Naufahu and Miss Bou’s Fashion Cassandra Ngaluafe.
The competition also showcased a range of beautifully made tau'olunga costumes worn by the seven contestants.
The winner will be announced together with other judging events at the crowning of the Miss Heilala on Friday night, 11 July at Joe's Kahana Lagoon.
The pageant continues tonight Thursday, 10 July with the island creation competition, the final event.
A float parade in central Nuku'alofa will wrap up this week's pageant on Saturday morning, July 12.
