4 Spatial Data Entry Operators
FAO in partnership with the Government of the Tonga is currently implementing the GEF 5 Project, “Integrated Land and Agro-ecosystem Management Systems (ILAMS) for Tonga” under the Pacific Ridge to Reef Program and is inviting applications for the following vacancy short-term consultancy posts with FAO Office in Tongatapu.
One of the key objectives of this project will be to strengthen the National System of Land Administration with the digitization of cadastral maps (both the tax and town allotments) and establishing protocols to update and maintain data quality relating to allotment map data.
Applications are now invited for four (4) Spatial Data Entry Operators to support the data entry of land registers and digital capture of cadastral maps for the Ministry of Lands, Survey, and Natural Resources. These positions will be for 24 working months effective from the date of signing the service contract.
- A Diploma in Information Technology qualification;
- Excellent computer skills with typing accuracy of 45 words per minute;
- Excellent computer skills on Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Access and Power-point;
- Excellent Data Entry skills and office administration experiences will be a bonus;
- Excellent inter-personal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
