Job Summary

The purpose of the Revenue Officer position:

  • Deliver financial receipts of revenue for Tonga Police Ministry
  • Prepare and submit documents to Treasury to record revenue, and
  • Taxation collection
  • Report to Finance & Procurement Manager

Key Tasks

  • Receipt of all revenue for Police Band Services, Police Vetting Services, Entertainment Licences, Ammunition, Arms Trading and Gun Licences and Liquor Licences
  • Obtaining official receipt books from MOFNP and sign the Treasury Pass Book
  • Maintaining a Pass Book recording all receipt books and other revenue recording forms received
  • Notifying the Finance Manager of any losses or damage to receipt books and other revenue recording forms
  • Keep and store all official receipt books, used and unused in a safe place

Job Qualifications

  • PASS Form 7
  • Certificate in Office Administration, Secretarial Studies or similar
  • 2 years’ experience
