Tsunami warning reduced to watch for Tonga, says NEMO

Tonga’s tsunami warning is reduced to a tsunami watch at 4:30pm based on latest information received by the National Emergency Management Centre, said Leveni ‘Aho, the director. The watch follows a major earthquake in Solomon Islands, Santa Cruz group that has generated a tsunami wave in hte Pacific Ocean.
